Just for the fun of it, I'm planning to recreate the show's intro using people from the web, as if they were on the show. This is a great way to be discovered, hopefully the producers will be interested in you. I'll be needing a few things from you: 1. Your first name 2. Picture of yourself (the larger, the better) 3. Video of yourself You can use a free uploading service to upload your video. For example: www.megashares.comwww.zupload.comwww.transferbigfiles.comwww.spread-it.comJust make sure you e-mail me the downloading link when you have uploaded your video Sounds interesting? I'm a freelancer who likes to make random videos. Take a look at my YouTube-profile: www.youtube.com/somepolarbearsWhether or not this project gets done, depends on how many people contacts me. I do not have time to check forums all the time, so only those who mail me will be accepted. Thank you.

Although if this really was something the producers were interested in, maybe we should get them to watch All-Stars play out!! Lol

It will be sent to CBS website and hopefully featured there. I myself went into the woods and filmed today. Meaning I will be in the video as well You can borrow a digital camera from one of your friends for a couple of hours (it might be a good idea to tell them why you want to borrow). I don't need much video footage, just a few minutes. Just tell infront of the camera about yourself and why you should be on Survivor.

Don't know if you're trying to be sarcastic here or not, but Survivor is my passion. And by making this video, I get to test video techniques.

This is a one-man's project like all of my other projects. It takes time to gather videos, coordinate them, editing the videos, making effects, adding music, then finally putting it all together. I got a full-time job and only have time to work on this project after work + my weekends. Take some time to think about how you want to present yourself instead of rushing it. You can either be yourself or try to be funny Everyone who participate in this project will of course be credited, and you can add a website or e-mail if you want. Also, I forgot to mention one thing. Please provide me with your job status as well. Additional post: Video-files are usually very large in size and sending them over e-mail is not going to work well. You can save your video in any format you want (i.e. myvideo.avi, myvideo.mpg, myvideo.mov etc). Here are some websites for uploading: www.megashares.comwww.zupload.comwww.transferbigfiles.comwww.spread-it.comWhen you're done with your video, you can use one of the websites and e-mail me the download link. (I hope this is not considered as spam). I will help if you have troubles using the websites.

More info 20 candidates will be picked out to be in the video. I hold the right to use whoever candidates I feel fits best for the video. All footages, websites and e-mails will not be used for anything else but for the purpose of the ending result of this project. If you applied and didn't make it to the first video, you can be placed in the second video (that is, if there are enough applicants). There are no money involved, it is purely for Survivor entertainment and it could be your entrance into the TV-industry or fame. I speak from experience. I was contacted by one of the Casting Directors from the CW network through my videos. From him, I've gotten in contact with other people from the TV-industry. I'm sure CBS has talent scouts working online as well. With that said, I hope many will apply. Make a difference and be discovered. You never know what will happen next. (Please help spread word about this project).

coolbeans man! hope I get picked! I would rule Survivor! Course, I'd probably just finish 4th place yet again and embarass myself by thinking I was in control when everyone else was laughing at me, lol.
But yeah, I will try my damnedest to get a camcorder!!!!

Oh, and just a quick, does age really matter, in terms of possibly getting a tv entrance. Cause I know you gotta be 21 to apply for survivor, but Frosti was on S15 when he was only 20. I am asking this because I am only 20 now and not turn 21 until September. Just outta curiosity.
Oh, and when would a due date be for the videos?
