Tribal Council #4
Bucca Tribe[/color]
Host Sandy: Two times in a row Bucca, you're the first tribe to experience two losses like this. I'm kinda certain coming here is starting to take its toll on you guys. Hopefully after this vote some of you can pull out a win. As always we'll start Tribal Council off with a few questions. Kj, it's no secret the last bit of this challenge depended on either Richard or Lorii. Neither came through for the tribe. Do you place blame on either of them?
Kj: Well, Lorii told us ahead of time that she would be gone and she had these plans for awhile, so I guess I blame Rich more at his point. I know we all have lives outside of the game, but for challenges, we need to try and at least log on.
Host Sandy: Granted life comes first and things happen. But this is Allstars and it's kinda hard to stay afloat without a daily log on at the very least. Lorii, Twice in a row you're here again. Has your Hawaii curse come back to haunt you here in Ireland?
Lorii: Oh dear, I really hope not. And personally don't think it has. Hawaii was over-all just a rough time, it was impossible to do anything, but here right now, I know we have the potential, and I know we can win. And I also apologize for not being here last night, because I know if I was we would have won .
Host Sandy: Taylor, Do you think voting off Kyle was the right decision? Do you think he could have helped Bucca win this past challenge?
Taylor: I think Kyle would have showed up for the challenge, and he is a strong player, so I think we could have won if he was still here. However, we can't go back in time and bring him back. All we can do is try to use this tribal council to make our tribe stronger.
Host Sandy: Voting to make the tribe stronger seems smart at this stage, but is it too little too late? Tom, back-to-back-to-back losses taking its toll yet? I mean it's day 8 in the game, you've lost three times, voted three times, it has to get somewhat draining, right? Opposed to those people who've never lost a challenge yet.
Tom: Yeah, it sucks now. It's horrible. I'm horrificly sick of voting, and this vote sucks. I hate it. Bah.
Host Sandy: Deighton, after the challenge what was the mood like heading back to camp, knowing someone else was going to have to leave? Was the vibe around camp different than usual?
Deighton: I dunno about everyone's else's mood. But I was upset. I really thought we had this one won. If I had known Lorri was gonna be away boozing it up, I probably wouldn't have turned up cause it would have just been us fighting a losing battle.
Host Sandy: Bridget, anyone on the tribe holding Bucca back from being the best it can be? Explain.
Bridget: Yeah, cases of inactivity and disorganization on our parts have caused us to lose challenges. I know Rich and Lorii had things going on outside this game, but yeah. The timing just kind of sucked.
Host Sandy: Lorii, - Feeling vulnerable tonight? Why should these people keep you around?
Lorii: Srsly going to have a panic attack over this Tribal. Im soo effing nervous. I was honestly thinking about the challenge last night while having a drink, and I was hoping so much for a challenge where we didn't need all members. Once again I apologize. Keep me because, I am a loyal, & hard worker who wants to see this tribe out on top, not to mention I spend 90 % of my time on this. xox
Host Sandy: Richard, You gotta be feeling a bit nervous tonight Richard, what are you basing your vote on tonight?
Richard: I'm extraordinarily nervous. I screwed up big time when it came to the challenge, so my tribe has every right to go after me. It really, really sucks to be losing another Bucca member so quickly, and I really don't want it to be me. I hope my tribe keeps me around so that I can help them win some challenge in the future.
Host Sandy: Deighton, worried that so many other people are getting clues this round and not you?
Deighton: To hell I am. Actually getting my hands on a lil something something wouldn't be too shabby. But at least this time, they can't put the blame on me that I have the idol/blessing or whatever, cause the 1 clue I got is as useful as a washing machine full of colonel sanders dirty drawers.
Host Sandy: Payne, along with a few other people on the tribe you're one who has visited me here every single time so far. Is it getting old yet? Why do you think you keep coming back here?
Payne: I love and adore you Sandy (which explains the huge poster of you hanging above my bed) but I'm getting a bit tired of this whole routine. It would be nice to win for a change, but what can you do? I suppose that I have some sort of voodoo curse put on me, along with Tom and Bridget. Or we just suck at the challenges. But I'm hoping for the former.
Host Sandy: Taylor, How do you feel about your position in the game? Trust the people you call 'allies' at this point?
Taylor: I feel as though I am valuable to my tribe, so I would like to think that they all respect that. But after last tribal council, it is apparent that anything can happen.
Host Sandy: Kj, Would you be surprised if you were voted out tonight?
Kj: Well, I got two votes last time and I know my name has been tossed around by a group of 3 this time, so I wouldn't be surprised. I would be perplexed though. I am an active player so it wouldn't make much sense strategically.
Host Sandy: Tom, what are you basing your vote on tonight? Explain.
Tom: No idea. But ultimately it's still all about trust.
Host Sandy: Bridget in your opinion, why was Kyle voted out of this tribe?
Bridget: Kyle was voted out because some of us weren't comfortable voting off a different person, and Kyle was the alternative solution, I guess.
Host Sandy: Payne, how do you feel about your standing on Bucca?
Payne: The moment you start to feel secure in this game you should probably leave. It'd be stupid to ever feel comfortable, so I'm shaky with my standing here. One moment I'm confident and having fun and the next moment paranoia sets in and I feel vulnerable. Just part of the game I guess.
Host Sandy: And with that Bucca, it's time to reveal the votes. Once the votes are read the decision is final. The Allstar with the most votes will be asked leave Ireland immediately. I'll read the votes...
First vote...
Second vote...
Third vote...
That's 3 votes for Richard
Fourth vote...
Fifth vote...
Sixth vote...
We're tied 3 votes for Richard, 3 votes for KJ
Seventh vote...
Last vote...
We're in a deadlock tie between Richard and Kj, each receiving 4 votes each. iSurv1vor rules state that in the event of a tie we take a look at past votes received by each castaway involved. If the castaways have none, or the same amount of past votes we head to a tie breaker. In this case...
Richard received 1 vote at the third Tribal Council
Kj received 2 votes at the third Tribal Council
I'm sorry Kj....You need to bring me your torch. After 8 days out here in Ireland...
*Snuffs KJ's Torch*
...THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN!
Please post some final words in your Journal. Kj, I want to thank you very much for agreeing to play this series again. We've been friends for a while through our great little facebook world. You applied for Cambodia and were one of the greatest characters. Love your face for agreeing to play again. Sorry things didn't work out for you here.
As for the rest of you, sleep well. Someone active and friendly just went home. Goes to show it can be anyone! Check Headquarters for an update.
